Cartier, the French luxury watch manufacturer, brings back the iconic model, Pasha de Cartier. First created in 1985, this watch gained much popularity amongst sports stars and celebrities. This year, Pasha Cartier was relaunched with a transformed look in two case sizes of 41mm and 35mm and marketed as a unisex watch to continue the legacy of the classic Pasha de Cartier model for the current generation who values self-expression, collaboration, diversity, open thinking and positive values.
The core collection comes with three-hand models in different case materials, 18-carat yellow gold, pink gold, and steel. These models feature Cartier’s QuickSwitch system to remove the band quickly and the SmartLink system, which confirmed the update of this watch.

The new Pasha de Cartier is powered by Cartier Manufacture 1847 MC caliber engine, and the mechanical automatic movement holds a 40-hour power reserve and a classic watch winding crown for timing. This caliber uses non-magnetic nickel phosphorous components for the escapement to protect the movement from magnetic fields around us.
Beats at 4hz, this movement is decorated with Côtes de Genève on the rotor and bridges that can be seen through the crystal sapphire case back of this watch.
The case is round with the hallmark capped crown and chain device, still has an elegant appearance like the 1985 version of the Pasha de Cartier. There’s a difference in the case thickness for the 41mm model and the 35mm. The first one is 9.55mm thick, and the second one comes with 9.37mm. The larger model also has a date display at 4.30 o’clock position.
This new model has an updated version on the dial but still pays homage to the original version. The iconic “square inside a circle” design code features applied indexes at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The hands and Arabic numerals come in blue that matches perfectly with the silvered dial decorated with guilloché scallop design.
What’s new in this 2020 version is the dial has a discreet degrade effect; the center dial has a slightly lighter color than the edges. This new model also features a hidden winding crown with a blue spinel cabochon under the fluted crown cover secured by a chain to the case.
This new model comes with Vendome-style bars on the bracelet that have rounded pyramid shapes at the ends. There’s also an additional alligator strap to change the looks of your watch depending on your mood. You can change the strap very quickly using the QuickSwitch system without using any tools.
