The “Tophatters” edition features a robust 44.5mm case made of black zirconium oxide ceramic, a material known for its durability and scratch resistance. The chronograph pushers and crown are crafted from Ceratanium®, a unique material developed by IWC.

The watch’s design is further enhanced by the squadron’s patch, featuring a classic top hat, positioned at the 6 o’clock mark on the dial. This emblem is also engraved on the titanium case back, adding a personalised touch.

The chronograph function allows for precise timekeeping of hours, minutes, and seconds, while the screw-in crown ensures water resistance up to 6 bar. The watch also features a small hacking seconds function, allowing for accurate time setting.
