Panerai proudly introduces the latest addition to our Luminor Quaranta collection, the Luminor Quaranta BiTempo Goldtech™ PAM01641. Retaining the distinctive elements of the Luminor collection, such as the cushion-shaped case and the iconic crown-protecting bridge, the PAM01641 is presented in a smaller 40mm case made from Goldtech™.
Panerai Goldtech™ is a unique gold alloy created by the Maison. It combines platinum and copper to achieve a deep red colour and superior resistance to tarnishing, enhancing the watch’s durability. The 40mm brushed Panerai Goldtech™ case houses the Luminor Quaranta™ BiTempo, driven by the automatic P.900/GMT calibre, which is renowned for its reliability and features a 3-day power reserve.
The P.900 automatic calibre offers extensive functionality while maintaining remarkably slim proportions. At only 4.2 mm thick, it is one of the slimmest automatic movements in Panerai’s lineup.
The energy required to maintain a three-day power reserve is generated by a bi-directional oscillating weight and stored in a single barrel. The balance wheel, which vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, is securely held in place by a balance cock.
The calibre features a stop-second function for precise time settings. Its GMT complication, displaying time in a 12-hour format, pays homage to Panerai’s heritage, reflecting some of the earliest models from the early 2000s.
The GMT hand has a gilded blue tip that glows in low-light conditions, enhancing both legibility and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the watch features a larger, more prominent date display for improved readability.
Reflecting Panerai’s dedication to preserving its heritage, this timepiece incorporates the iconic elements of the Luminor line, such as the cushion-shaped case and the signature crown-protecting bridge, ensuring water resistance up to 10 bar (~100 meters). The ‘BiTempo’ inscription at 6 o’clock, meaning “dual time” in Italian, highlights the Maison’s Italian roots.
This new model features a sun-brushed black sandwich dial with white Super-LumiNova® for optimal visibility. It is complemented by a see-through sapphire crystal and Panerai Goldtech™ case back, which allow users to view the watch’s intricate mechanics.

The strap is made from black alligator leather with T/T stitching and is secured by a brushed Panerai Goldtech™ trapezoidal buckle. The PAM Click Release System™ allows for easy swapping with the included second black rubber strap.
